The Hollywood Theatre has long been my favourite Vancouver cinema. When I first moved to the city in 1991, I quickly found myself enjoying the $2.50 Tuesday and $5.00 double bill offerings. It became part of my weekly routine.

The venue has now been transformed into an event space that hosts a variety of shows. For this image I chose to recognize the upcoming House Arrest performance as the band and those associated with it hold a special place in my family’s hearts.

This signed and numbered limited edition print of my painting has been meticulously recreated and produced by the wonderfully talented Tricera Imaging of Vancouver.  The image is printed with archival ink on 100% cotton rag paper and presented in a museum quality frame and glass.

Part proceeds of the sale of the limited edition prints will go to FAMILIES FOR CHILDREN and BC CANCER FOUNDATION, in honour of David’s wife, who is currently undergoing treatment for two types of breast cancers.
 

We are offering two different sizes. The 32 x 24 inches version is a signed and numbered edition limited to 50 copies. The 20 x 16 inch version is an open edition and will not be signed and numbered.
